What do I bring?
Bring the product name or page you found, your medicine list, and the questions you most want answered.
Describe what “low energy” means in your day. When does it happen? What has changed? What would you like help understanding?
Can it happen online?
For telehealth care, you exchange information over video, by phone or online. In-person care puts you and the health professional in one room.
As of September 2026, medical-board guidance allows a first remote visit when it meets the standard of care; state rules can differ.
Standard of care means giving the care your situation needs, even when the visit is online. Ask whether discussing your symptoms is enough or whether an exam or tests are also needed.
Is filling in a form enough?
Prescribing solely from a fixed questionnaire is rejected by guidance checked in September 2026 if the form cannot collect what is needed for care.
An online form is not automatically a problem. Look for a real exchange, with room for questions from both sides.
What do I ask before the visit ends?
Ask it like this
- What is the reason for this plan?
- What result are we hoping to see?
- How will we decide whether it is helping?
- Who answers questions after this visit?
- What does the next visit cost?
Ask for the plan in plain words. Take time to connect it to the concern that brought you there.
