Which price matters after I start?
The ongoing price. Ask for it beside any opening offer. Then ask what the care plan expects after the first visit.
For several cash offers and medicine savings cards, the end date listed in the September 2026 record was December 31, 2026.
Use an offer’s end date as a prompt to check its terms again. It does not tell you what a later price will be.
What continuing care needs an answer?
Ask what later visits, messages and repeat tests will cost, and who handles each. Also ask who checks whether more medicine can be prescribed and what that check costs.
The Food and Drug Administration, or FDA, is the US medicine agency.
In its September 2026 guidance, the FDA marks the absence of a licensed doctor for questions once medicine has arrived as a warning sign.
A refill is another supply under a prescription. Ask whether getting it means another visit, a message exchange or a separate charge.
What if the plan changes?
Get the billing terms for pausing or ending care before paying for a long commitment.
Ask it like this
- What do I pay in a normal month?
- What does it cost to discuss whether the care plan needs to change?
- Who handles questions between visits?
- What happens to fees if the medicine changes?
- How do I end a membership, and what can be refunded?
Keep that answer. It belongs in the budget as much as the medicine price does.
